The 2017 Confucius Institute Art Study Tour offers a fantastic opportunity to learn about Chinese arts and culture through a study tour to Shanghai, Nanjing and Suzhou, led by accomplished Chinese-Australian painter Mr. Xu Huawen. The tour will include gallery visits, exchanges with local artists and a cultural institutions. The tour is open to anyone with an interest in the arts or Chinese culture. You do not need to be enrolled at the University of Melbourne or have studied Chinese arts previously to join this tour.

Confucius Institute at the University of Melbourne’s 10th Anniversary Celebration- An evening with Nanjing University’s Traditional Chinese Music Orchestra
The Confucius Institute at the University of Melbourne presents a 10th Anniversary Celebration Concert by the renowned Nanjing University Traditional Chinese Music Orchestra on August 24th. This performance will form part of NJU Orchestra's Australian tour, where they will perform 9 times across 4 states and territories. The evening will also include the announcement of the winner of the Xiamen Airlines photo competition who will receive a free ticket to China. Please join us for an evening of traditional Chinese music and celebration with friends of the Confucius Institute at the University of Melbourne.
We are proud to continue our Business Beginners Chinese Language Course in Term 3 in partnership with the Bank of Melbourne, which will run from July 20-September 21.
