Need to improve your basic language skills when engaging with Chinese business partners? This introductory session is designed to help small business staff who have either never learned or are just beginning to learn communication skills in Chinese. Learn basic greetings, an understanding of pronunciation and simple phrases for use in a business context. This event is part of the Victorian Government's Small Business Festival.
Participants who complete this session will be able to:
• perform basic greetings, self-introduction and expressions for daily commercial communication
• learn the pronunciation of Chinese words and names
Sample topics include:
• Chinese Pinyin System (Phonetics)
• Basic Greetings
• Self-introduction (including translation of your business name and position)
• Industry phrases
